USING PLNQD DRILLS

Using PLNQD drills PLNQD (for PLN QuickDrills) allows you to work interactively with the computer to improve your skills in symbolic logic.
By clicking on the PLNQD icon (or by typing these five letters if you are using DOS) you start a program that calls on you to indicate the specific name of the drill you want--and it allows you to see what is available when you type in TELL ME. The drills are of several types, and you will be guided through in how to use them.

The drills themselves are prepared with a unique programming language, itself called PLN, which makes use of the key concepts of conditional relationships that you study in the course. To see a program, use the DOS command TYPE and the name of any drill plus the extension .PLN. The drills make use of programs (**.PLN), banks (**.BNK), and various HELP files (**.HLP). (Please note, for those using DOS, that all of these must be in the same directory in order to be called up.)

Each drill is linked to a specific page in SLIPS. Use the list of titles (slip9a) to navigate to the proper drill. The location with the SLIPS page number will be visible on your browser somewhere around your title bar.
